Ca. 1931 notes written by Mrs. Charles J. McClung (Anna Gay) re: the cream lace dress she wore at a November 1931 “Gay Nineties” ball in Knoxville. The dress was bought and worn in New Orleans in the late 1890s; hat and gloves also described. One note on letterhead + envelope; one printed sketch of 1890s dress; two 1931 clippings; one small envelope with three small handwritten notes.
