Fain Collection compiled by Frank Bachman Fain in 12 volumes with an index. The collection also includes some correspondence and notes. The collection was microfilmed by the Tennessee State Library and Archives in 1979 and is also available on microfilm in the library. Frank B. Fain relied heavily on the family research done earlier by William D. Fain (1813-1888).
