Scope and Contents Bill Tracy (1920-1988) began his career in photography working in 1945 in the studio of Knoxville photographer Jim Thompson. In 1957 Tracy opened his own photography studio which he operated until 1976 when he turned his studio over to his son, Ernie Tracy.
