Research by E. Spears McCollough (1892-1966) of Knoxville and his mother Cassandra Kirkpatrick McCollough (1858-1940) on the Kirkpatrick and allied families. Other surnames include Bayless, Clark, Haun, Stevenson, White, and Wilkins. In 1978 Glenn S. Clark compiled an index (Folder 1) which correlates to the photocopied set of the Kirkpatrick Family History in five volumes (Folders 3-10). The collection also includes The American Register from 1926-1932, with some gaps.

Scope and Contents The scrapbook, assembled around 1910, contains documents collected by Eleanor Wilson White (1842-1889), daughter of Hugh A.M. White, granddaughter of Knoxville’s founder, General James White. The documents apparently passed to her sister Lucy Graham White Rodgers (1847-1925), who compiled the scrapbook and added newspaper clippings.
