Scope and Contents
The largest white pine tree in the U.S. named for George E. French of the Atlantic Lumber Co., Boston. The tree was felled because the top was broken out, and the tree was dying. The tree was in Unicoi County. It had a circumference of 19 feet and a diameter of 6 feet.
