Clippings not dated; primarily poems, advice, anecdotes, marriage/death/birth announcements, histories & biographies, current events Also includes calling cards, invitations, handwritten correspondence, and event programs. Black-and-white portrait labeled "Great Grandmother Margaret Cowan McClung"
Newspaper clippings pasted in scrapbook, most undated. Spine detached. Written in pencil inside front cover “Scrap Book made by Mrs. Amanda (Park) McTeer, Family records, etc.”
Mrs. Fred C. Breeding (Josephine Stone Breeding). Scrapbooks include clippings including poems, local history, Bert Vincent columns “Strolling.” Also Mrs. Breedings newspaper columns “Sidewalks and Country Roads,” “Your World and Mine,” some published in the “Maryville Enterprise.”

Scrapbook of glued-in newspapers clippings of the column by Dr. Frederick Augustus Ross, D. D. (1796-1883). Some identified as from the Christian Observer (Richmond, Va.). Title of column was “Rev. Dr. Ross’ Column.” Mostly religious and political. Undated. Includes printed copy of December 16, 1868, letter from Dr. Ross, Huntsville, Ala., to Col. John A. McKinney, Rogersville, Tenn.

Materials from St. Mary’s donated to the McClung Collection are contained in two boxes. Box one contains three scrapbooks, two compact disks, and oversized folders of photographs and scanned newspaper articles. Box two contains ten folders of various materials including photographs, newspaper clippings, booklets, pamphlets, letters, and other ephemera. Two books that were donated with the collection can be found through the library catalog.

Officers include Miss Elizabeth Taliaferrio of Loudon, Mrs. Albert Lyon Craig, Miss Nannie Lee Hicks. Members include Mrs. E. E. Patton, Mrs. Charles S. Rader. Includes a March 25, 1938 newspaper clipping of the announcement of Mrs. Hayes’ election as president.
