John Sevier (1810-1862) Family Bible. He was the grandson of Governor John Sevier. Includes original family entries and two sets of additional family records from other Bibles. Also includes one 1859 letter to Daughter from Pa and a loose clipping. Gift of Mrs. James A. Lynn, Memphis, Tenn. This bible is “The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testaments”published by McCarty & Davis in Philadelphia in 1829.
