McClung & Co. grain painted pine storage box, dated July-December 1874, with hook latch and old nail construction. 15" H x 24" W x 13-3/8" D. C. M. McClung & Co. was a hardware and agricultural implements business in Knoxville, Tenn., late 19th century. Condition: Some wear, mostly on back, and losses including approx. 7" break to front left edge.
