Scope and Contents Papers of William H. Watterson (1836-1908), son of Henry and Lydia Hutchisson Watterson, Hawkins County, Tenn. William H. Watterson attended Emory and Henry College in Virginia and studied law under L. C. Haynes. He served in the Confederate Army from 1861-1865 and practiced law in Rogersville, Tenn.
