[1888]. (Date supplied by seller). The first words at the top are missing, probably ‘The Ballad of’. Twenty 4-line verses telling the story of the 1888 murder of Thomas Goodson in Elizabethton, Tenn. Tells of Honeycutt’s arrest, trial, imprisonment, appeal, etc. Honeycutt claims his innocence.
