Scope and Contents Anne Wetzell Armstrong moved to Knoxville, Tenn from Grand Rapids, Michigan in the 1880s. She married Robert F. Armstrong, son of Robert Houston Armstrong, in 1905. She wrote two published novels (The Seas of God and This Day and Time) -- the first set in Kingsville (based on Knoxville) and the second in a rural Appalachian Community based on Big Creek.
