This collection includes copies of many of her articles, typescripts of her plays, and a handwritten copy of her (as of 06/2019) unpublished autobiography. In addition, many family photos and other family ephemera, as well as correspondence (her father’s Civil War letters and other personal correspondence of AWA). There are a number of books (primarily novels) included with the collection -- including first editions of both of her novels.
Papers and correspondence related to the Crawley family of Knoxville, Tenn.
Includes the George Crawley Letters - Collection of 32 letters of the Crawley family; the bulk of the material written by George Crawley in 1944 during his time at Fort Knox in basic training.
First Presbyterian Church of Knoxville. Correspondence, 1864-1866. 1864-1866 copies of correspondence between leaders of the First Presbyterian Church of Knoxville (including George M. White, D. A. Deaderick, W. S. Kennedy and J. S. King) and Federal Military officers. Re: damage to and possession of the church building and graveyard, building being used as a colored school.
Correspondence, primarily personal notes amongst members of the Gouffon and Anderson families. Includes some business correspondence-bills, banking, and medical. Also includes photocopy of David Babelay’s chapter on the Auguste Gouffon family from his book They Trusted and Were Delivered.
The House Family Collection contains materials descended through the prominent Knoxville family, co-founders of the House-Hasson Hardware Company. The bulk of the collection pertains to Sam Crawford House and his son, Henry Fleming House. The Collection includes correspondence, receipts, periodicals, currency, journals, and other materials.
Newspaper clippings, letters, and ephemera about the organization and activities of the Knoxville Film Council. Some clippings dated and identified.
The Film Council was a subcommittee under the umbrella of the Committee for Public Understanding organized in the Spring of 1947. The Film Council first met October 20, 1947.

The McMahan Papers,1829-1923, contain documents of T. W. McMahan in Sevier County, Tenn. The collection contains original manuscripts, documents, two poems by Louisa Walker, and one issue of the Republican Semi-Weekly, Sevierville, Tenn., newspaper (August 22, 1885). Also: August 1862 Volunteer Descriptive List and Account of Pay and Clothing for Private Joseph F. McClurg
The Trotter Family Collection contains materials descended through the prominent Sevier County, Tenn. Family. The Collection includes photograph albums of family members and travels, correspondence and other materials collected by Jess Wynn Trotter during her travels, scrapbooks containing historical clippings, and other ephemera related to the Trotter family.

“Knoxville, Tennessee, Nov. 17, 1864. L. P. Chapin: I have your letter in regard to John Hide [Hiele?], wounded and left in the Court House in Sevierville. He was taken to the House of a Mr. Rawlings, and died of his wounds, and was charity buried. I have no other particulars. W. G. Brownlow”
