The reels were donated to the Tennessee Archive of Moving Image and Sound (TAMIS) by co-creator William R. Wilburn on January 1, 2011. As TAMIS was then a non-profit and not part of the McClung Collection, TAMIS transferred ownership of the collection to the McClung Collection September 30, 2011. TAMIS became part of the McClung Collection in 2014, and re-assumed responsibility for the collection.
