Panorama photograph of the “First Annual Christmas Dinner and Dance, Employees of the Goodall Company, December 18, 1936.” Photograph by J. E. Thompson. Gift of Connie Rist, ca. 2009. Goodall Company, a clothing manufacturer, was established on Gay Street in 1932. The manufacturing plant on Baxter Ave. was established in 1934. The company was known as the Goodall Company until 1949 and afterwards as Palm Beach. The donor’s mother is in the photograph. Gift was originally taped between glass and cardboard (no frame). Photograph was removed from the glass.
