General
Mose Lee Waller Jr., age 87, of Lenoir City, passed away May 5, 2007. Mose was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. He was a graduate of Roane County High School and attended TMI in Sweetwater. In 1942 Mose graduated from Vanderbilt University. He was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Army. Mose retired from the State of Tennessee in 1979 and owned and operated an Insurance Agency in Lenoir City. He was a former member of the Loudon County Commission and was an active member of the Democratic Party. Mose was preceded in death by his son, Mose Lee (Buzz) Waller III; parents, Mose Lee Waller, Sr. and Margaret Whitson Waller; sister, Margaret Jones. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Corum Waller; daughters: Janet DeRidder and husband, Mitchell of Kingston, Washington, Nancy Waller of Nashville, Caroline Proyect and husband, Martin of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Mary Margaret Waller of Nashville. Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery. 11-30-2010
