Scrapbook put together by Elizabeth Fritts after having a miscarriage. Includes her journal about the event, cards from well-wishers, hospital bill, photographs, pathology report. Box also includes obituaries located through research by Danette Welch, McClung Collection staff member.

Biographical / Historical
Elizabeth Hildreth married Curtis Fritts in Lenoir City, Tenn. on December 16, 1951. She first got pregnant in 1955 and lost the baby at approximately 3 months gestation. They had two other children together, Ramona and Charles. Mr. Fritts was a machinist at K-25 in Oak Ridge and Mrs. Fritts was a teacher in the Lenoir City school system. Mrs. Fritts died March 20, 2021.
