Dixie Lee Wyatt Crosby was born Wilma Winifred Wyatt on November 4, 1909 in Harriman, Tennessee. She adopted the stage name “Dixie Lee” after joining Fox Film Corp. in 1929. She married Bing Crosby a year later and they had four children. She died of ovarian cancer in 1952.
