Kingston, Tenn., 1878, Bill from Childress and Martin, general goods, to C. P. Taliaferro. Handwritten, 7 page daily account for general farm and family supplies on store billhead. Charles Taliaferro survived the Civil War as a confederate sympathizer and endured reconstruction in E. Tenn., often paying debts for his family, as shown on this bill. This bill was found in a leather bill fold, and it is included.
