Re: visit to the Executive, expenses. 3. Sept. 27, 1808, Return J. Meigs, Garrison Highwassee, letter to Governor John Sevier re: Meigs; demand re: James Vann. ALS 2pp. (3 pcs., torn). 4. Sept. 1, 19008 letter from Return J. Meigs, Highwassee Garrison, to Governor John Sevier. ALS 2 pp. (1 Pc.). Convention with Ky. and Chickasaws, Cherokee National Council, treaties. 5. Address to the Cherokee Council at Wills Town to meet on the 20th August, 1816, Signed Return J. Meigs, August 17, 1816. ADS 3 pp. (2 pcs.). The President of the United States calls all the white people and all the red people...his children, mentions Presidents, improved conditions for Cherokees, Treaty of Hopewell in 1785, land cessions, General Jackson is your best friend. 6. August 16, 1821, letter from Return J. Meigs. ALS 1 pc. (mounted). General Robertson has been dead several years.
