Scope and Contents
Alta Chloe Grubb was born June 20, 1907, and died February 2, 2001. Her parents were Jeff Davidson (or maybe Jefferson Davis) Grubb from Holston Valley, Tenn., and Alice Sophia Brown from Shady Valley, Tenn. She lived at 1031 Kentucky in Bristol, Tenn., her entire life. She never married and worked for H. P. King Co. at least from 1936 (stenographer) – 1946 (dept. manager).
