Mentions Secession Tax, rebels to be taxed, mentions Sam, the mulatto, and asks his politics. Mentions meeting at Morristown and the Kyles. Mr. Neils legal problems, suggests moving Lucy and Mr. Baker and Neil to the farm to protect them, along w. sister Margaret, to repay Neil for kindness to sister Sarah.
