Receipt to J.B.G. Kinsloe for ‘one double barrelled shotgun, no. 953, valued at $15, and deposited in the Ordnance Office for the use of the Confederate Army service.’ P.M. McClung, Ordnance Officer, by John E. Heling? (Delius?) ADS 1 pc. (tape at lower right). J.B.G. Kinsloe was editor of a Knoxville newspaper during the Civil War, in business with W.G. Brownlow.
