Scope and Contents
Three original sketches made by Anna Sandhu (later Mrs. James Earl Ray) of a murder trial in the Federal Courtroom in Knoxville, Tenn., ca. 1975-76. The murder trial was of two men from Cocke County, Tenn., who robbed a bank in Kodak, Tenn., and killed several people. Donor’s note indicates picture #1 is of the defendants and #s 2& 3 are of the attorneys during the trial. 3 original drawings, ink and watercolor on heavy paper. 14 x 22” + Jan. 1995 letter from Louise L. McReynolds re: Anna Sandhu (Ms. McReynolds spelled it Sandu) and the drawings. ALS 4 pp. + envelope. (+ printout from the Internet with notes about Anna Sandhu Ray).
