C. M. McClung Co., Knoxville, Tenn. William H. “Bill” Catlett, brother of donor, worked briefly for C. M. McClung Co. before serving in the Air Force in WWII. Afterward he worked as a salesman for the rest of his working life and was the last salesman/regional salesman when the company closed in 1970. File includes C. M. McClung Co. blank order book, 75th anniversary history of the company, employee newsletter (Grist for the Daily Grind) (4 copies, October 16, 1970, last newsletter?), blank pocket memo book, blotter with photograph of the signs in the parking lot, Jackson Avenue with caption “62 years of service”
