Items from the estate of Carolyn Johnson McCraith (1920-2010) Greensboro, N. C. Includes mostly material from her family in Sweetwater, Monroe County, Tenn. including the Cleveland and Johnson families. Mother Malinda Neil Cleveland (1888-1876); father J. Gid Johnson, Sr., (1885-1953) and brother J. Gid Johnson, Jr. Includes books, photographs, bibles, Tennessee Military Academy items. Box 1 Tennessee Military Academy (TMI) and old photographs, Box 2 Books and bibles, Box 3 Gid Johnson, Jr., military artifacts WWII including Japanese machine gun site, Japanese flag, and souvenirs made out of shell casings, helmet line, Box 4 Papers, books and photographs of CJM, Box 5 Documents and photographs, Box 6 Books, bibles, and a pocket watch in a glass case + 8 framed photographs, 2 Japanese swords, military knife similar to a Bowie knife in leather holster (possibly Philippine), U. S. Bayonet with sheath ca. 1866 + a long rifle supposedly from Monroe County
