Scope and Contents
Records of the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church from 1913 to ca. 1981 were brought to the McClung Historical Collection to be microfilmed in June 2015 by Chris Hammond, Church Historian and Clerk. After filming, the church donated the records to the McClung Historical Collection, retaining only a notebook titled Church History, which was filmed at the end of the microfilm. Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church was established in 1913. It is located in Powell, Tennessee. In addition to church records, several copy photographs were also microfilmed. A history of the church written by Chris Hammond appears at the beginning of the microfilm. A detailed list of the material is in the box and appears on the microfilm.
