(The complete Col. John Williams Family Papers collection is 4 boxes but the Bibles with family records are all in Box 2.) Four Bibles housed in the Col. John Williams Family Papers: Dorothy Brandau Bible with birth entries for Brandau family members (1913-1918; Eliza and E. D. Sneed Family Bible with birth, marriage, and death entries for Sneed, Williams, and Jones family members (1812-1875). Bible was published in 1847.; Sneed Family Bible, 1826 with birth, marriage, & death entries for Sneed, Lanier, Williams, and Dickson family members (1772-1875); and Sneed Family Bible, 1838 (with birth, marriage, death entries for Brien, Sneed, Williams, Brandau, includes entries for John & Rhoda Campbell Williams).
