The library papers, the largest part of the collection, include her work at Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) libraries, Knox County Library, Lawson McGhee Library and the McClung Historical Collection, rural libraries, regional libraries, and libraries of the Tennessee Valley. She served as president of the American Library Association.
