Processing Information

For research and preservation purposes, the material was removed from the notebooks and placed in acid-free folders. Mrs. Armstrong did not number her notebooks, but in processing the collection, numbers were assigned to the notebooks in order to clarify which material she kept together. In the Finding Aid, there are references to Notebook 1, Notebook 2, etc. The researcher should realize that the number on these notebooks is not significant except to pull like material together.
