Scope and Contents
Scope: 3 scrapbooks containing Knoxville newspaper clippings, original photographs, ephemera, brochures for train excursions, newspaper account of the last passenger train service in Knoxville, last run of the final Knoxville electric streetcar in 1947, and related materials. Primarily relating to trains, but also including streetcars. Mostly concerning Southern and L & N Railways (1967-1969), with a few items from earlier years. Items were probably kept by an (unidentified) Knoxville railroad employee.
