Scope and Contents
Photographs and negatives from Knoxville photographer Bruce Leslie and his family. Boxes 1-4 contain negatives in envelopes with BL numbers. Boxes 5-11 have some proof photos among negatives in separate envelopes. Envelopes labeled with Order Numbers, Date, and Subject, if available. Four boxes of 8"x10" negatives and some prints, two of the boxes have damaged negatives and prints. One box of unidentified, undated negatives. Sixteen total boxes of negatives. Two boxes of cards containing order information.

Biographical / Historical
Bruce Leslie (1899-1998) began his career as a photographer working with Jim Thompson of Knoxville. He went on to have a long and successful career as a photographer in Knoxville. He died in 1998 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in South Knoxville, not far from the site of his last home on Chapman Highway.
